Courses listed below are in order of training progression. NAUI offers a wide variety of training programs for the beginning recreational diver to the more advanced diver. NAUI also offers dive leadership courses as well. Maybe you can be our next dive leader.

OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVER $325.00 4 weeks, 5 dives. Prerequisite: Minimum age: 10 years. Class includes: Instructor Fees, Pool Fees, Naui Book Kit, Use of Scuba Gear, C-Card and Open Water Checkout Dives. This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to gain experience in the open water diving environment. It is a great opportunity for fun family learning experience. An optional ocean dive is available at the end of this course for only $60.00 and these dives can apply to any student enrolling in the Advanced Scuba Diver class

ADVANCED SCUBA DIVER $99.00 + book kit. 2 class nights and 1 pool night, 6 checkout dives. Dives and Equipment not included. This course will help polish the skills learned in open water. The course covers natural and compass navigation, night diving, deep diving, and 3 specialty dives of your choice. This class will open up more diving opportunities and allow you access to more advanced dives.

RESCUE SCUBA DIVER $250.00 + book kit. 2 week course 3 nights per week, 2 dives. (Dives and Equipment not included). This course will help the diver recognize stress situations in others and themselves. The diver will be able to perform assists and rescues using rescue equipment and rescue techniques learned in the class and pool sessions. Each student will be able to implement emergency procedures in the pre-dive plan, including complete accident reporting, recording, and management. Must be first aid/cpr certified to receive certification.

NITROX SCUBA DIVER $99.00 + book kit. 1 week course 2 nights per week, 2 dives. (Dives, gas and Equipment not included). Prerequisites Open Water Scuba Diver and 15 years old. This class is for divers who would like to learn how to lengthen their bottom times and shorten up their surface intervals. Course teaches the fundamentals of nitrox use, how it is made, common misconceptions and dive tables. This course will allow the student to participate in dives that air divers cannot do. A dive computer is strongly recommended.

MASTER SCUBA DIVER $400 + book kit. 3 week course 3 nights per week, 10 dives. (Dives and Equipment not included). Prerequisite of Advanced and 15 years old. This course continues the skills and knowledge of the advanced diver to mastery level. This diver, when finished, should look and know almost as much as an instructor. (Prices effective 1/1/08

NIGHT DIVER $99.00 1 week course 2 nights per week, 2 dives. (Dives and Equipment not included. This course will teach the diver how to dive at night or in dark water. Hand signals, light signals, and communication skills are covered. Skills for beach and boat night dives are covered as well.

INTRO TO PHOTOGRAPHY $99.00 1 week course 2 nights per week, 2 dives. (Dives and Equipment not included). This course is an introduction to photography and covers the basics of digital and film photography.

ADVANCED PHOTOGRAPHY $199.00 2 week course 2 nights per week, 2 dives (Dives and Equipment not included). This course covers cameras, techniques for close-up, distance, strobe use, macro, silhouette, marine life, and people photos. This is a comprehensive photo course designed for the intermediate photographer.

SEARCH AND RECOVERY $150.00 3 week course 2 nights per week, 4 dives (Dives and Equipment not included). This course will help the diver be able to organize and conduct diving operations where a person or object has been lost or sunken underwater. Divers are taught how to set a beach command, set up and establish a search team, conduct effective search patterns, protect, locate and secure evidence of a possible crime or drowning scene. Some salvage techniques are taught for recoveries.

SPEAR FISHING $99.00 1 week course 2 nights, 2 dives (Dives and Equipment not included). This course will teach the student the ethics, identification, and regulations of spear fishing. We will cover the equipment needed and techniques used in spear fishing and safety.

WRECK DIVER $99.00 1 Week course 2 class nights. 2 dives. (Dives and Equipment not included). This course teaches the methods of safely diving around wrecks, anti-silting, salvage, recovery, and wreck nomenclature.

TECHNICAL SPECIALTIES

CAVERN DIVER $300.00 minimum 2. 1 class session (done at springs) and 4 dives. (Dives and Equipment not included). This class will teach the diver skills and emergency procedures to be able to dive in an enclosed environment while under water.

CAVE DIVER $1,500.00 minimum 2. 3 weekends of dives or 8-9 days split in 3 sections 15-20 dives. (Dives and Equipment not included). A complete course teaching all the special techniques for safely diving in the overhead environment. All the equipment required for safe cave diving will be used so each diver will be proficient in its use.
